Website privacy

Privacy, explained clearly.

This notice describes information handled through the Compupod website. It does not replace transaction-specific notices presented during an in-store purchase, repair, payment, or trade-in.

Last updated August 7, 2026

Information the website may handle

  • Repair lookup details, including the ticket number and phone number entered together to verify access to a repair status.
  • Referral lookup details, including the referral code and phone number entered together to verify access to reward results.
  • Information you choose to send when you call, text, or email Compupod.
  • Standard technical request information used to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access.
  • Website measurement information, such as pages viewed, session and device information, approximate location, and clicks on call, text, or directions links.

Referral reward lookup

The referral lookup verifies a referral code and the phone number on the associated Compupod customer profile. After verification, it displays that customer’s reward totals and activity without showing referred customer names, contact details, devices, or ticket details. Lookup values are not placed in the page URL or intentionally saved in browser storage. Privacy-preserving security records may be kept to limit repeated lookup attempts.

Repair tracking

The repair lookup submits the phone number and ticket number together for a read-only verification. Those values are not placed in the page URL or intentionally saved in browser storage by the lookup page. Status information is shown only after the supplied details are verified. The Google tag is not loaded on the repair lookup page or on private ticket-status links.

How information is used

  • Provide repair status and respond to customer questions.
  • Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve website reliability.
  • Measure website and advertising performance, including whether a visitor selects a call, text, or directions link.
  • Maintain transaction and service records where required for the customer relationship, accounting, fraud prevention, or law.

Analytics and advertising measurement

Compupod uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement on public website pages to understand traffic and campaign performance. Google Analytics may use a first-party cookie or similar identifier and process browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed, and interaction events. Google Analytics uses an IP address to derive approximate location and then discards it before the address is logged or stored. Compupod does not send repair lookup values, message content, or call content to Google Analytics through this implementation.

Google processes measurement data under its own terms and privacy practices. You can learn more in the Google Privacy Policy. Compupod does not use this website to sell personal information.

Service providers and external links

Compupod may use infrastructure providers to host, secure, and transmit website requests. Links for maps, reviews, calls, texts, or email may open services governed by the receiving provider’s privacy practices. Compupod may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect customers, or prevent misuse.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, operational records, dispute resolution, security, or legal obligations. Compupod uses reasonable safeguards, but no network or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the record, you may ask Compupod to explain, access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Verification may be required before a request is completed, and certain records may need to be retained. California residents can learn more from the California Attorney General’s privacy resource. You may also limit analytics cookies through your browser settings or use Google’s Analytics opt-out tools.

Children

This site is intended for general electronics repair and retail customers and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child’s personal information through the repair lookup or contact channels without appropriate authority.
